Who called from 4168408610

The man addressed me by name and he said he was calling for a $200 donation to Harper's campaign. I told him no. That is asking too much from the average person and even more so from a poor college student like myself.  I say it's a SCAM

On August 21 at 10:17 I got a call from a man from Telephone # 416-840-8610 saying that now Harper Government has won the election he needs money as it was very expensive.  If we could pay $200. Then with the same breath he says that if it is too much can I pay $100?  I said I am not in a position to make such decision.

I tried looking up this number but it goes to some place near the downtonw core/Toronto harbour front area.

I think this is a scam as I have never had such calls before asking for money for any party on phone.

Got to take action Mr. Harper! or Tom Hudak! or the Conservative Party!

I have reported these scam artists to the proper authorities. If you get a call from them, don't answer.

I recieved the call too! Didn't get a change to talk to him, one of our phones cut out.

Brittany, your phone didn't cut out.  He hung up.  Just like he did with me.  He asked for me by first and last name.  I said "speaking" and then the line went dead for about 3 seconds.  Then I heard the dial tone.  No doubt that he hung up.
