The phone calls you are receiving are from a mass distributor, Acast Global (acastglobal.com), that dissemintaes information for clients. Clients call this company and request that they have information sent to them via fax and give their fax number. If they give the wrong fax number on accident or if the company writes down the wrong fax number by accident then the wrong number begins getting 10's of 100's of 1000's of phone calls depending on the amount of information requested. The owner is Joe Olive (pronounced Oleeva) and I contacted him via telephone. He advised to call the number back and type in 00000. Then enter your phone number. If this doesn't work he stated to call your phone company and your phone company can identify the phone company associated with these phone numbers. Your phone company will(should) contact his phone company and his phone company sends him an e-mail advising him of the wrong number. He admitted that this process takes a few days but he gets emails all the time and tries to take care of the problems ASAP. This is alot to take in but if all else fails you can reach Joe Olive at 1(416)[admin removed]. Have on hand the phone number that called you and the exact time of the call. Take into consideration the time zone when giving him the time. He will be able to locate the company that gave the wrong number and take yours off of the list. I know this is long but I hope this helps.
