Some scammer called on Christmas morning to fix the virus scanner on the Windows computer. The scammer had a strong East Indian accent. I wished him a Merry Christmas and hung up.
3 calls on my drive to work. First two times just silence. I first thought my Bluetooth did not work. On the 3rd call there was just noise and people talking in the background. I did call back and the number was busy.
They called me at work. Caller ID was 416-909-9911 and it was the old "windows computer" tech support scam. The guy at the other end claimed to be a technician with our tech support department. He had a strong East Indian accent and spoke poor English. I had some fun stringing him along before he hung up on me.
