Hi, I live in Surrey, BC, and I attended a kids fair 2 weekends ago. there was a draw for a free cruise vacation, which I entered and there were other booths at the event that I entered as well. A person from Imperial Majesty Cruise Lines called yesterday to inform me that I won a vacation on a cruise to Florida/Bahamas, after browsing on some cruiseships sites, I came on to this one. After hearing so much about scams, I am not sure if that caller was sincere. But he wanted to speak to my husband, which I entered his name on the form, I said he wasnt home. So that caller may call me another time. I am just not sure if I want to go along with this "free" prize, plus he asked me do you have a credit card, I said yes. Any feedback, pls reply, thanks!
If The trip is free then why does the caller need your credit card number? That's already a sign of a scammer, be carefull and I suggest you do not give away your credit card number
