This is another iteration of Regent Asset Management, although they don't give a company name when they answer, I started receiving calls from this number after blocking another number from these bottom feeders.
Not only do they not follow the call laws, they also violate nearly every section of the FDCA, not informing me this is an attempt to collect a debt, telling me that my "rights" as a debtor don't matter or that what I "think I know" about debtor's rights "don't apply in this situation, this ain't no credit card," attempting to scare me into paying them by claiming they are going to garnish my wages and stating that they don't need to issue me a summons for that to happen they've already taken care of it with my employer, and even threatening me with violence if I didn't comply ("You don't know what kind of people you're messing with here; we know where you live and we know where you work.").
These people and iterations of their "business" are the worst of all debt collectors. These people give legitimate collectors a terrible name.
Regent Asset Management
Imperial Recovery Partners, LLC
United Credit (Collections is sometimes appended)
US Bank (the original creditor who could not provide me with proof of my "debt" BEFORE they sent it to collections) admitted to me that they sold my "debt" to United Collections. Don't be swayed by their claims to not know what kind of parasites they have gotten into bed with; in my experience the same people are running both those businesses.
