Selling timeshares. Not interested and pissed that they are ignoring the Do NOt Call list. Lots of complaints about this business on BBB site and others.
I have received multiple calls to my cell phone over the last 2 weeks from this number. Since I don't answer calls that I don't recognize the number, I let voice mail pick it up, but they never leave a message. I suspected a telemarketer or scam caller, and according to the reports I've read, I wasn't wrong. I, also, am on the National Do Not Call List, and I don't believe I gave these people permission or my number to call me. I've got a call-blocking app on my cell phone, and I'm going to block it due the information I found here and other sites. There are several call-blocking apps to be found, but I use Call Control, and have had no problems with it, and it gives me the choice to either direct the unwanted call to voice mail, or block it completely. If you have a cell and are receiving unwanted calls from a number, that is the best way to deal with them. If you call the number back, it just verifies that the number is good, and even if you tell them to stop calling, the will call more. It is best not to answer or call it back, and simply block it. Eventually if they never get a person on the phone, they will stop calling.
