Identified himself as a truck driver who found a piece of jewelry, would not take picture of item and requested money be wire transferred.

Wire money = untraceable - just like cash.  Refusing to document his find - RUN away!!

I got a Drone for x-mas and lost it on first flight. Put an ad in the paper and this number called and said he had found it, and that he would be back in town in a couple of days. Never heard from him again.
