Picked up figuring I would play with the telemarketer
Dead air then a computer "Goodbye"
Telemarketing companies have to respond to a pick-up in a short time or hang up.
Received call on our business number... let ring 3 times, picked up and responded with our company name & department, and then heard the computer voice saying "Goodbye" with an immediate hangup. We're now using "All in One Call Blocker" device, and simply hit "call list" to verify last incoming number, and hit the big red BLOCK button. And no... I don't work for Call Blocker... but highly recommend it to anyone plaqued with BS Mkt'ing calls like this.
