Keep getting calls from this number and the message starts before the answering message stops, so I do not know who it is, but they keep saying, "...if you'd like to return our call, please dial..." and leaves the number. Why would I want to return a call to someone I do not know who they are or what they want??
This is one of the numbers utilized by Wyndam associated hotels/vacations.
They call and call until YOU finally call back at which time you're thanked for YOUR INQUIRY and interest, and then they begin making the pitch for vacations, etc. via Wyndam hotels.
They believe if you are being forced to call them to stop the calls to your home, the company (companies) isn't in violation of the DO NOT CALL laws.
Further, as they'll also be happy to explain to you when you're trying to get off their call lists, because you get calls from ONE of their numbers and respond that you want them stopped doesn't mean you won't be offered the same services from OTHER Wyndam-associated telephone numbers in the future.
How's this for a runaround the FCC, FTC, state laws...

I have received numerous calls from 417-522-0186. They call several times a day and the caller ID says Missouri. I haven't answered , but today I called back and got 'Ashley' from a vacation something or other. I told her I was on the no call list and asked her to remove my number and stop harrassing me with multiple daily calls. She said it would take 30 days. We shall see.
