I start by responding like I'm going to do it. He/she actually called me a fool! Lol. That's hilarious. I'm the fool. And he is the a## hole trying to scam people that are trying to sell something.
Its so obvious that this is spam why do they even bother..lol, every time I place add on Craigslist, I get the same old text or call's. How do you stop it.
I placed a craigslist ad to sell a guitar amp. This person sent me a message requesting that I remove the post and he will pay me an extra $50. He needs my name and address, etc. Will send a cashiers check...etc. It seems suspicious.
I received a text saying he wanted to buy my bedroom set and would pay an extra $50 if I would remove it from craigslist. I asked him his name and he said Jack Robie. I replied that "Jack Robie" is a clothing line. He did not reply back.

I get the same stuff all the time. $50.00 extra if I would respond to a different email address and remove ad from CL. What is this ? I know it's a scam, but how exactly does the scam work?
