This guy is a scammer. I lost an item on Craigslist and he called me and claimed to have it. He was using the name Michael Jones, calling from 417-619-0795. He sounded middle-aged and African-American. He claimed to find my item, said he was a truck driver in a different state. He offered to mail it out to me by next day air. When I asked him to send me a photo of the item to confirm, he said he wasn't going to send any photo, got defensive, and hung up on me.

I called back and he answered my call several times, but completely resisted sending a photo or giving any identifying info. He's very smooth.
Don't send any money to someone like this unless they can send a photo or clear proof that they have your item. I'll be reporting him to the police.

This guy is a piece of crap scammer. I listed an item on Craigslist and he called me but never wanted to send any pictures of proof of the item. He insisted on Western Union payment send to Illinois under the name of Michael Tillman. Beware, this guy is a piece of [***]. Stay away. I hope he faces a slow painful death for all of his [***].
Scammer Alert. Goes by the name of Michael Jones, aka Michael Tillman.
He replies to posts on Craigslist about having found your lost item and he will return it to you if you pay him money through Western Union Back Transfer. He claims he’s now in another state because he was either on vacation, or because he’s a truck driver and is now out of your state.
He will tell you to transfer the money under the name of Michael Tillman or Michael Jones so he can pick it up at a Western Union location (usually in Park Ridge, Illinois).
After he gets the money, he will stop replying to calls or texts. Do not get duped by this guy. Be safe, don’t get scammed. Don’t listen to his lies.
