Got a call from this number just now. I did fill out an entry form for a drawing for a HUGE teddy bear at North East mall not too long ago. I figure if I won they'd leave a message or something. I don't want to call them back to hear a sales pitch.
I just called the number and they said they were calling in response to an entry form that I had filled out somewhere perhaps a trade show or festival. However, their representatives were at lunch and I was told to call back later. This is a scam anyway because I haven't been anywhere and filled out any entry forms in forever and I never give out my cell anyway.
Got a call, they called home number - caller id said Branson Tickets, then they called my work. Didn't answer either time, but think it is a scam as well. They don't leave a message.
I just got a call from this number on my home phone, and they said that they had drawn my name for a prize at the Ft. Worth Stockyards. I've never been there, so she tried the Ft. Worth Boat Show. Nope, hadn't been there either. So she tried "Home and Garden Show?" Chances are that I'd been to the Dallas Home & Garden show last month, so I said yes. She said that I had won a discounted vacation to Branson, MO... she seemed very suprised when I said that I had been to Branson before. I just let her talk... I had filled out a lot of entries at the h&g show, but I doubt I would have entered for a vacation to Branson because I don't have much of a desire to go back there.
Anyway, she asked me if I was married... and then said "oh, I see you're younger than 28? Well, you don't qualify for this prize." And then she hung up.
Weird thing is that I think I got a call on my cell phone last month from a Branson travel agency, and when I called back, they put me on hold and never took my call. Weird.
