Got  call 0525 AM this morning from the TIFF Brokage. Same M.O. no one on the line, called back to the number and got a recording that all the service reps are busy and to leave a message and number and they will call back. Hung-up.

Ok, so this is a nice site to report these problems but what the hell is being done about these people?

Are we all just venting on this page or is this web site trying to do something about it? If not then this site should be reported also to the FCC!!!!!

Mad? your dam right I am all this technology we have in this country and the government can not step in to stop these [***] phone calls????  The do not call list is a joke also! More money wasted on a program that does not work!

This country is going to hell in a hand basket!

HERE IS A WAY TO START THE PROCESS OF SHUTTING THEM DOWN:

I do not like to complain without having a solution. I truly believe that if something is going to be done, WE have to do something.  And I think this is it.  After you do the following, write on this board that you did it.  Strength in numbers!!!

I am 99% sure these are scumbags building call lists to sell and this is how they validate numbers as live / working.  DO NOT call the number back, that is what they want and another way to validate.  I have just done and suggest the following:

1) Call 417-800-2000, it is the company that is listed as owning the number. Their web site says to call the attorney general, FTC and FCC and they will cooperate with them. They even give you the numbers.  This makes me think they are OK with the scumbags calling us and are passing on trying to stop them because they are making money on this too.  But I called them anyway and left a message stating the problem, the number, and that I will be calling all the numbers they suggest and telling everybody that 3L does know about the problem because I told them!   http://www.3lcom.net/

2) Call the Missouri Attorney General: (866) 662-2551.  Tell them the problem and tell them that you have already informed 3L Communications so don’t let them tell you they do not know.  I also said they should simply Google the number and they will see ALL the complaints that people took the time to write.  I am not alone!

3) FTC: (888) 382-1222, give them the same speech

4) FCC: (888) 225-5322, give them the same speech
