I just answered a call from this phone number...the name showed up as V40114410700395. I was shocked that someone was actually on the line, as I receive calls almost daily from these many phone #'s with these ridiculous letter/number names & there is never anyone on the line. I always call back & some foreigner answers & I tell them to take my phone # off their list as I'm on the DNC national registry. Back to today...the person on the other end was actually an American...shock! She didn't ask for anyone by name, but instead stated her name [can't remember it]...I asked her what I could help her with today and she said she wanted to save me interest on my payday loan...I told her I have never had a payday loan and asked her to take my # off her list...she said she would, but, as we all know, these scammers call almost daily with all kinds of stupid offers. I'm not sure what any of us can do anymore and it's so very annoying. I just wanted to post because I was shocked someone spoke when I answered & super shocked it was a well-spoken American girl on the line! Geez...
I received a call from this number today. All calls have been made to my cellphone. The lady calling asked if I would like $5000.00 to help cover my thousand dollars debt. I came back with a "NO WAY!" She hung up. Last week I researched other numbers that have been calling me since March 28th, this number is one of the listed scam artists from a scam group in India with a base in the coastline, (Florida I think). Here are the other scam artisits numbers: 773-945-1697, 773-596-1405, 312-788-9419, 551-200-5878, 385-313-3974, They start out by calling, hanging up while your saying "Hello", or try talking to you then hang up.
