They called me . Guy sounded Chinese saying he work with Microsoft. I've been getting the same calls for 3 years so I knew what he wanted. Then said he has my computer number and I laughed and said I don't have a computer and he said really ma'am because shows you do and I said really where I don't have Microsoft so . He then replies saying yes ma'am let me help you. Look at the digits from the back of computer and I laughed and said you really think I'll give you my information? Ha no bye and hung up . Please be aware of this number. It'll call like 3 times a week .
Received call claiming to be Microsoft Technical support, trying to get me to allow remote access...suspected scammer when he was unable/unwilling to give me his phone number, rather tried "valiantly" to prove he was from Microsoft.
I asked to be removed from the call list and they wouldn't let me. I told the person I didn't had any Windows computer at home (Mac User here) and the guy laughed on my face, telling me I was lying to him. "Why would I lie about that?!" He then asked me to download some mac software to "repair" my mac, and when I told him it was brand new, even knocking the phone on the box, he hang up with no other words.
