This idiot, with heavy Indian accent, tried to convince me that is calling from Microsoft because my Windows has a "bad signal" and he wanted to help me fix it.
In 2015 is there anybody to fall for those SCAMS?
Got a call they ask for me by my name. Said they were from Microsoft and was calling about my computer. I just said SCAM and hung up and blocked their number. 417-864-0559 no name company or otherwise showed on caller ID. I have heard of this scam before where someone claims their from Microsoft and it's about your computer. They try to gain access to your computer to rip you off. Don't fall for this people, just hang up and block their number or if you are not expecting a call from the area code that shows on your caller ID Don't answer!
Received call from heavily accented man who said he was from Microsoft at 8 o'clock this morning. I stopped him at that point and told him I knew it was a scam and he wasn't getting me to fall for it. He then hung up on me before I could say anything else.
