I received a call from this number this morning. The caller ID said that the call was placed from Branson, Missouri. Considering that I had filled out a basic entry form for a free trip to Branson at the mall (probably not the best idea, but it didn't ask for anything personal that I couldn't quickly change) I was unavailable at the time, so my niece answered the call. The caller said that I had won the trip to Branson.
I called back a few hours later, but the number connected to a singular person - not a company, not an agency. And it was a cell phone. And, the caller was not in Branson, he was in Springfield (checked with this site, and a number of other phone number look-up sites to verify). The caller insisted that he did not call me. His number is listed in the yellow pages and on switchboard as being in Branson; so the fact that it's not is further evidence of this scam.
If you live in Memphis (I don't know for certain if this has happened in other cities or states), and you see an entry form for a free trip to Branson: don't bother. It's just a scam.
I have seen several similar posts about people offering free trips, but this wasn't a call from nowhere. I actually did fill out a form. Still, it's a scam. I don't know if the caller asks any questions or tries to sell you anything. Like I said, I called back.

Thanks for posting. I also filled out a form for a trip to Branson at the mall and just got a call from them this morning. I missed the call though, but I am not going to call back. Thanks!
I just received a call from this same number. The woman said I won a trip to Branson. I filled out a coupon at a Mall while I was on vacation in MN. The woman said she was calling from Branson, but this number comes up as being in Springfield, Mo. or Aurora, Mo. as well. All she told me is it was for 3 days and 2 nights and I would receive 90.00 of spending money. I was having a hard time understanding her because of her accent. She said the deal is good for 1 year, but wasn't sure if the airfare is paid for or the hotel. She said she was going to call back in a few days because I needed time to plan the dates. It seems like a scam though because you can't pinpoint them with an actual travel agency. I have relatives in Mo. so I wouldn't mind a free trip but I don't want to get taken either. What's their point though? She didn't ask me for any personal info. unless that comes later. Best to air on the side of caution I guess and just forget about it.
I got a call from this number . I place my name and number in a ballot at a Hot Springs Mall. At first she hung up then I called her back and she knew it was me calling . She said my name and everything. She said the same thing you guys are saying about the 90.00$ and that I had to bring family etc . I gave here my email . And she was going to email me stuff . But was it scam?
