This same message is being generated through multiple numbers. Although I, too, hung up without pressing #1 I now think this was a mistake. The only way this scammer is going to be identified and stopped is by PRETENDING TO TAKE THE BAIT and eventually getting the Troll to identify itself. Has anyone actually listened to the full 'spiel'? That is, what follows after pressing #1?
I know this is a scam and don't want any part of it. But I'd like to know more details. Name of company? What they are offering? I like mysteries, but I won't waste the time to listen to their scam, and I don't wan to reveal my ID to them.
Just noticed a call from this number came in while I was out. No message was left. What I find interesting is that since putting my cell phone number on the Do Not Call list, the number of bogus calls has nearly quadrupled. Another number to block...
