Seems like a scammer service offering technical support for "your computer," and he cannot verify what business name he is or what business I have with his company, or if he represents a computer company. He says I have system error messages on my system, which is apparently an effort to offer some service. I hung up before he would take payment information. It's a scam.
The guy called me had strong accent. I was having a had time to understand him and did not get his agency name. He said my computer has serious virus and has great chance to be hacked, so I need to go to a website to download an offline tool to remove some applications. Sounded really urgent, but I doubted it and thinking this maybe a scammer. Hope other people have more information.
