Called me from 423-317-9594 and said I had won a 1000.00 online shopping spree but needed me to deposit money onto my card. They had the card number but not the pin. How did they get my pin number. said no thanks and saw it for the fraud that it is. Visa should do somethign about this since they are using their name to promote this fraud.
Got a call today from that number. The lady told me I had won the $1000 shopping spree, and I would be receiving my gift card tomorrow. She said the major credit card companies were doing this promotion. She asked for my age and occupation, and type of credit card. She then went on to offer me a bunch of "free" magazines, none of which I would be interested in. At the very end of the call, she said that all I would have to do is pay a small shipping fee of $6. When I told her I would rather not receive any magazines and pay for something I don't really want, she abruptly ended the call. I redialed the number and got an automated voicemail.
