I answered and it was a call from some Diabetes care, They wanted to verify my info to send me a new meter. Told them that I didn't need one and I guess she was pissed and said, "OH OK"...then CLICK! Very RUDE!!! So...there's who's calling ya. =)
They said they were from diabetes care, they said had an upgraded meter for me, I told them I didn't order one...they said it was a benefit...They asked if my last name was (and spelled it out)...I hung up.
They had called me several weeks ago at home to verify name, address, phone number, birthday. I asked them where they got my info and they said i had sent it to them. I told them i did not and to not call back. They called my house this morning and said the call was important and about my insurance and a glucose meter. They were given my work number and called me at work. I asked them how they got my work number and they said something about my insurance. They did not tell me they had called my house. I told them I was not interested and to not call me back. I told them to put me on a list to not call. They hung up while I was talking. About 15 minutes later they called me back and would not talk. I wrote their number down then and googled it and found this.
