Basically was the same thing, get a call and WOW! I won $1000 .... I told the chick I had already heard about scams like that and all she said was "...oh!" n I hung up! .... It was just a one time call tho, if I get a call from this number again Im gna tell them I will report them as a "scam company" online.
I've been getting blocked and unknown calls as well, I answe but get nothing, I just call my phone company and my phn line will simply reject those calls :)
they called me and i answered and they asked for rhonda i was like this is her and she said do u have a vist/mastercard..i was like no she said how about a logo on a debit card i said i use to but no longer have it. and she said well you were selected for a $1000 online shopping spree and that they would send me the information..i was like ok whatever and she hung up.
I to am getting the same calls. it started about a week ago with one call around 10:00pm and now it is up to 3 times a day. not only from 423-317-9089, but from 423-3178221, and 423-317-8219. they call and leave no message or I answer and hear people talking oin the back ground for a few seconds and the hang up. i return the call. I eather get a long ring or a busy tone. It really needs to stop...
yeah same here there is a call center by my home that does the same thing. once you sign up for something online these places get your number and try to get you to get a credit card for just there catalog that you can never pay back
change your phone number is your only hope on peace
My daughter receives 2-4 calls a day from this number on her cell phone. No message, line busy when you call back or no answer. Very annoying and needs to stop!!
