TOTAL SCAM. This number is a RECORDED message, even though it sounds very 'real' and spontaneous. On another site, "White Pages" there are already 4-5 comments on this number. This "caller" calls in response to people's Craigs List ads for Homes or Apartments for Rent. Mine, apartment. His message says hes 'interested in renting to own your home' and leaves NO NAME and only this phone number. My ad specifically *requires' a FULL name for a callback, so, this number will NOT be getting a response from me. After 36 years in the Rental Business, I know a SCAM when I hear one!
THIS scam seems to be targeting a very specific group, and I can't imagine what they could be gaining from this.

This is definitely a scam. The information the recorded message was asking for was already available on Craigslist advertisement, so the pretense of the scammer's inquiry became obvious. They are harvesting phone numbers from Craigslist and probably trying to gain info to do a lease-sale scam on unsuspecting renters, pocketing deposits and initial rents.
All told, we have Eric Holder and Obama to thank for this nuisance lawlessness.
