i keep getting calls from these people - i called back they answer Nationwide Credit. Have no idea of why they are calling my phone. I have no deliquent accounts anywhere.
Caller ID said BRISTOL TN 423-484-0145 also PANAMACITY FL. 850-387-1718
Called me and left vm. They’re looking for a man with same last name and first initial. I am female and have a different first name. Being on the DNC list does not protect you from these calls, they are not telemarketers trying to sell you something, They are debt collectors and will search the phone books and call anyone with the same last name, or similar name, even if your number is unlisted. There should be a way to stop this behavior; I have a common last name and I am inundated with these types of calls! (Also calls from SHARE GROUP)
They said they were NATIONWIDE CREDIT and to call 800-564-2395. I called that number (which I had blocked on my phone previously because they never left a vm, and have called me over 100 times), and told them no one by that name lives here. The woman said my number would be removed from all phone lists. We will see . . . . . . .
