I got two calls on my cell phone today with the same as all the above, so angry, and wonder how they got my cell number. Lady hung up on me once I called her on her bluff.
Received numerous calls from this number on my cell phone, which is on the Do not call list.... all they say is that they have soe great deal for me if I supply them with some information. When I interrupted the man and asked what the great deal was, he said that if I give him the following information.... I asked him to shut up, and never call again... then they called back about 20 minutes later, this time it was a woman who started right in on me on how there must have been a connection problem and that they are .. blah blah blah
They got my cell phone number from an advertisement affiliated with mafia wars on myspace. My son plays the game regularly... not anymore. Barry, Stephanie, and Angie have all called me today and in very pleasant toned voices explained to me that at 3.68 a week for the next 20 months... I would get a free 1000 shopping spree and 60 months of magazines.... yadda yadda yadda... I ask for them to remove my name... they call... I ask them to not call again... they call... every ten minutes sometimes.
Msg said I won something....doubt it...isn't there a way to stop solicitors from calling my personal cell phone....I thought there was a law against calling my personal cell to sell me crap I don't need!
Just got the same call I told the lady i didn;t want to give any personal info because it seemed like a scam she tried to reassure me they were a family owned buisness and have 1000's of happy customers. Wish I would of looked her first. Im just going to freeze my account and get a new card.
