The name of the collection agency is Thomas Lee and Associates. Don't fall for this scam. In Tennessee, you can't be criminally prosecuted over a cash advance loan. It is considered to be a loan and not a bad check, even if you stop payment on them. Don't fall for this scam. The Federal Trade Commission sent me the information on cash advance companies and the FTC is the one who informed me that criminal prosecution is not allowed in TN for these type of cash advance checks. Now don't get me wrong, they can still take you to court and sue you with a civil suit to get their money, not criminally.
