I did give my number while shopping for insurance on a particular sight - don't remember which one - but, I did not think they would call me over and over and over again. I mean like 15 times in one hour. That often! I am at work and can't really talk about this stuff during the day. They don't leave messages and I don't answer an unfamiliar number unless they left a message. I don't know the company, but they are calling from two different numbers. I just wanted to get rates online, and not have to speak to anyone because I don't have time to talk to someone an hour to see if I can afford anything like this. I was really just curious to see if I could get a better rate, etc. I will now only use the main site that the government refers you too because they give you online quotes and don't call you.

. . .and that is WHY you need 2 phone numbers. A real one, & a voip one. It goes to voice mail & then the voice mail is emailed to you. Family & close friends get #1, everyone else - #2. Everyone sells your phone number these days, not just scammers.
