Spam caller. The lady told me I stayed at their resort (wrong, I haven't been on vacation in about 15 years here in the states) and I qualified for some type of free vacation in sunny Orlando Florida! I hung up on her because she refused to stop talking while I asked to remove my name and number from their list. Number was promptly blocked and reported as Spam. It is quite frustrating that they can use local spoofed numbers to dupe you into answering. I guess I'll go back to just screening my phone calls.

Just got a call from this number. Since I didn't recognize it, I didn't answer. After reading the other post, glad I didn't. It will now be blocked from my phone.
This number calls me every week. I believe it's the scam I've heard about that is a prerecorded message that is made to sound like a live person. They are looking to record you saying yes to seemingly inncocent questions, only to use your voice and replies for things you don't agree to.
The voice on the other end appears to be a female that is having difficulties hearing you or connecting with you and will apologize and ask you if you can hear her. When you reply "yes" they record this and use it in some way. The article I read wasn't sure what they're using your voice for but it's best to not answer.
This number has called several times and since I do not recognize the number I don't answer it. They have not a message, just keep calling with area code 423-702 and a different last 4 digits, every time. It's getting very annoying! Thanks everyone that did answer the call for letting us know it's a SCAM!
Don't allow messages if you're able so they get nothing but a ringing phone. An answering device still signals your number is active and they're probably needing a live voice for what they want.
