I ordered the magazines as well. If you tell them that the 49.95 is too much, they will lower your payments. Mine are down to 20.00 a month. But I couldn't cancel either. I wonder if we can dispute it through our credit card company????? I don't want the stupid magazines anymore either.
My wife received a phone call from 423-733-1560, since she didn't recognize the number she asked the lady to leave a message but she hung up. We received a call in the evening but did not answer it. Called number but it was busy. Later on it kept ringing but noone answered. Looked up phone number on superpages.com and the following info came up, Not sure if they exist or not:
"Marty & Crystal Dunsmore

Got the same call...decided to research it. The company is called Mountain Area Communications. Apparently they are a magazine subscription company. They don't have a very good reputation with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I would suggest not answering their phone calls all together. I made the dumb mistake of answering that call and siging up for the magazines. the number that they gave me is as follows 877.279.6354. i have been paying $49.95 every month for the past 8 months and i dont always get all of my magazines. and when i asked to cancle they say that i can not do that.
