Message he left stated: The very second I receive this message I need your or your retained attorney off records to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My Name is Roy Cooper and hotline to my division is 423-742-7554, I repeat 423-472-7554. Don't disregard this messge. Do return the call now. If you don't return the call or I don;t hear from your attorney either the only thing I can do is wish you good luck Elaine as the situation unfolds on you. Goodbye
So, is this something new? I see all the previous comments are all recently timed and dated. I received the exact same message. I called back and could barely understand anything the person said. He read off all kinds of weird charges or whatever it is against me. Saying it was U.S. Financial Institute and I took a loan out with them and they are saying I stole the money. I have never heard of any of this. All new to me. I hung up on him. He immediately called back and left a message saying you just wait until 11 AM tomorrow. You will be sorry.
I just returned a call to this number and the person answered yes, how can I help you??? I said you tell me you called me??? He then said "this is an atorneys office and you will be arrested!" I asked what is my name and who are you going to arrest??? He started screaming "there are people that are lying to you....you will be arrested!!" I told him I knew it was a scam and had already reported him to the FBI. He started screaming again and hung up!! It was really crazy! I would say its a total scam!
