I too received a phone call from this same number, however, the extension is 1011. Unfortunately they sold me on a vacation package and now I am wondering why I never received any confirmation. Today is December 9th, and when I call this number back, I am still getting a "closed for thanksgiving" message.
They said that because i stayed at a Ramada months ago I was getting called about this offer.
Call 1-800-866-2739. If the package you got was legit, they will have your information on file.
When you made the puches, were you given a 6 digit authorization code? If so, check with your CC company (call the number on the back of your card. If it was real, there should be a charge as "Wyndham Travel and Reservations" If thats not what you see, file a fraud alert.
FYI, your probably OK, I just called that number, and I know the lady who answered. (I work there also) If your not in the system, and you haven't received the package, it could have been a mistake in the QA recording. If the QA agent makes a mistake, the package gets canceled out. They don't call about it either. I know it's a big pain, but thats the way the Corp. Management does it.
