The reason LA Fitness keeps calling you is because their idiot employees are paid a commission for anybody they can get to join, or renew. And their people can call anyone throughout the country, so an LA Fitness moron from Los Angeles can call someone in Chicago.
Here is the problem. They do not verify if the phone numbers are accurate, nor do they bother to remove the wrong numbers from their database. I have been getting calls for years from two different LA Fitness locations on my cell phone. No matter how many times I explained to these morons, they kept calling. Finally, I was able to get the calls form one location to stop. How? I told the LA Fitness moron that I killed the person they were calling.
LA fitness called asking for a person (unknown to me) about being late on membership dues. I told them they have the wrong number. I receive multiple calls per week from various numbers from them. I have asked numerous time to be removed from their list, with no success. They call any day of the week and any time of day.

Thanks Jack for your comments. I've started receiving multiple calls per day from this phone number, even though I live in Chicago too. Have avoided picking up so now I certainly won't.
