called at 720pm so as to leave no message and hang up after 4 rings.  caller id is santa monica ca.

Claimed to be from the Atlantic Monthly magazine (to which I subscribe), wanting payment for a subscription renewal.  This is a known scam.

called at 7pm.  no message, no caller id. we subscribe to no mags.

I also got a call and they claimed they were from The Atlantic.  I told them they were a scam and I reported the phone number to The Atlantic
