If you get a message from this number, delete it or don't respond b/c it's a SCAM!!! Do these people think they are slick?!
I posted an ad on Craigslist to sell my wedding dress and I got this message:
"Do you still have the dress available?" ...I responded "Yes, let me know if you want to meet to try it on." ... The scammers response "I will only able to make payment by certified check/money order. I will make arrangements for the pick up after payment has been received and cleared your account. I would not mind adding $50 if you retain it for me and please take the posting off Craiglist today and consider it sold to me. Do reply back with your full name and address in which the payment will be mailed to you and with"
First of all, what woman wouldn't try on a wedding dress before she bought it?! Really?!
This is the same message that comes from many different scammers on Craigslist!! I immediately checked the number and confirmed it was a scam. Do not give out any personal information and don't get fooled!!
Have been receiving texts from this number since I have put an ad on Craigslist for a wedding dress. Same message as DAK received. Hopefully no one has actually fallen for the BS.
Same issue from this number. I posted a collection of watches on Craigslist and the same verbage as above was sent to me. They must trick a few people or they would have given up by now.
I received the same message as everyone else has.. Only mine was a fish tank After looking up the number I found out it was a big scam. Don't give out any personal information This is just a huge scam.
