Individual sending messages from 424-226-7306 claiming to be named O'Neal is responding to an ad posted on Craigslist with the traditional "I'll send you a Cashier's Check for your item which you'll cash and then my Moving Company will come pick it up....." yada yada. Yep, the check will be no good, you send money to the "moving company", then the check bounces and you are out the money and the bank fees. First, who buys something used without looking at it first. Why should you pay the moving company for him? Always, always when dealing with craigslist deal in cash only and conduct the transaction in a public place with video. Many police depts. will allow you to use their property to conduct that transaction now for your safety.
Tell them to send the check to the moving company, and the moving company can bring you cash. . because that's how you do business, cash. If they say they can't do that, just tell them they're trusting the moving company with their item, so they can trust them with the cash- and the scammer disappears in a puff of logic. Bye bye scammer.
