Received a voicemail at an outlying fire station from Ernie asking for the Chief. I returned his call to ask what it was regarding and if he needed the actual Fire Chief or the Fire Marshall. At that point he asked if I would give the Chief the message as he was in a meeting and had 10 people staring at him and that it wasn't a good time. I stated that I was simply returning his phone call. He said again that it was not a good time. I asked if I should return his call in 15 minutes, he said 30 and now I'm waiting to call him back again.

This guy is just a solicitor!
"Ernie" called our business line (landscape contractor) from his #805/433-9629. Said to c/b at the 424#. Ha - not bloody likely after reading the previous posts here! Thanks all!!
Ernie Ross called from an 860 area code but left the same 424 number. He identified himself as the owner of WL Construction. A little more info to add to the list.
Ernie Ross called to speak to my boss. I asked what it was in reference to or if my boss knew what the call was about. He said that my boss should know what it was in reference to. Well, needless to say my boss asked that I call him (Ernie) back to get more information. I called the number back & it went straight to v.m.. Do people have anythong better to do these days?
