They left message on my voicemail saying that if I didn't call them back "good luck" and "god bless". So I called back and they are claiming that I took a party day loan and didn't pay it back. I went off on them because ive never had a payday loan because they seem like scams and that phone call proved it for me. But the # was 424 244 6225
Message was left on my phone from a man with a very foreign acccent saying that he was with the Federal Investigation Law company. Stated that someone had used my name and information to get a loan and that I was now a part of the investigation.
i got a call from these ppl on 2/9/2011 saying that i owed money to a payday cash loan which i never took out... they had the last 4 of my social and my work and email.. they called my job told my job i was being sued. when i ask for the number they told me that they could not give me the number. then they told me the company does not want to speak with me. when i told them i was gonna have the better business burea all them they hung up the phone. please be carefull check your credit report. i dont know how these ppl got my info
same guy of heavy india accent with name of Michael Jones keeps calling at least every other day leaving a message that either myself or my attorney call them back and that it is time sensitive and if I don't call back within 2 hours, and they have an affividant with my name and SS# and that there would be an investigator at my door and be arrested and he wished me good luck. I don't answer numbers that I don't know. They call at all hours of the day and night and on Sundays--illegal in my state.
These same people have been trying to pull this same scam on me for the past year, using different names, companies and phone numbers. The one that I did talk to refuse to send me any information on the proposed fraud until after I paid them about 1200 dollars. Under the law, any creditor is required to provide information at your request.
Since this has been going on, I have not received any affidivant or anyone show up my door. I have been keeping my local police up to date with these scams. I have reported identity theft to all credit bureaus, Better Business Bureau and I have closed my bank account. If they don't stop, next will be changing my number that I have had for over 15 years. They were calling my job on a daily basis and my employer has informed them that I don't work there anymore due to the them harassing me.
