I seen an ad on Craigslist today for a house for rent, in Kissimmee, Florida, where we live. It said $700 3bed, 2 bath, 2 car garage, with beautiful pictures. This is in our price range. The ad said to text him or call him. I text him. He text back. Said he was on a research trip Little Rock, Arkansas as a Consulting Engineers for International Projects and this is going to last for years. I sent him a text and asked for his email, so we could respond more quickly. He gave it to me. As I am waiting for him to respond to my email, I googled his phone number on a whim, and it came back to this site, as a scam, con, fraud!!! Thank goodness we didn't go to see the house yet, or give him any money!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU google, for referring me to this site!!
Number has been reported to the FBI IC3 internet crimes division. This person is a con artist but an amateur one. He seeks renters in various parts of the US and asks for money. Don't send him money. He is believed to be Asian of Indonesian and speaks with a thick accent.
This person is a fraud. Uses craigslist to scam renters. Also uses the name Laurie Newsome to have money wired. Please be careful!
