I am sure it is some type of collector/telemarketer, and if the area code is to be believed, they are breaking the law. Not only is it before 8 am MST, in Montana, it's 6:15 am in California!!! I will be reporting this number to authorities. It's called Fair Debt Collection. A$$holes.
Since numbers can readily be spoofed, it could be from anywhere. The IRS scam and Microsoft Tech support scam out of India call early morning hours also because they have no conception of what time it is here and think that because it is daytime there it is the same everywhere.
Keeps calling and hanging up when I answer. I call back and they hang up. I have no debt. My guess is they are looking for the girl who had this number before me which is 3 years ago! She is still using it . Def from India
They called claiming that they are calling from Cash Advance America to sell me a loan. I respectful asked them to remove my name from their calling list. The guy calling had a middle eastern accent and very rude. Someone, please report this to the local authorities in CA, out of Beverly Hills, Carson, Compton area per google.
