I just got the same call from a blocked number. I portrayed to be someone else, he gave me a case number as well. I called the number and I got a voicemail saying that it was Loss Mitigation.
Recieved a call from a restricted number and the said they are CPS and there was a refusal to sign papers and we have 2 hours to call back. Very rude and no one are our residence with the name they are looking for. When you call back I get a voice mail saying Loss Mitigation Department no onw will answer.
Got a call from a restricted number they left a voicemail saying they're from CPS and there was a refusal to sign legal documents and I have 2 hours to call back. They also left a case number!
Did not even identify where they were from; said they contacted me about some court case and that I was being sued. When I pressed for more information, the caller only told me that the judge is giving me 2 weeks to show up? Afterwards, gave me a number to call (with court case number and everything). Called number and got a 'Loss Mitigation Department' redirect with no one answering. Looked up case number and is bonk. Couldn't even get my name right...
Just received a call from this number saying I'm involved in some kind of legal trouble concerning papers I refused to sign and I have 2 hours to get in touch with them. I called and got a message from Loss Mitigation Department. Needless to say, I am not in any legal trouble nor did I receive any papers to sign. Not sure what their angle is but I'm sure it's completely bogus.
