Just got an email from these fools at 0545 this morning. Says about all the same things written to other people as shown above. The number they left to call is: 424-271-4800. They are such idiots!! I don't even do payday loans!! What a bunch of scammers who should be put in a prison!
I got an email with their phone number on the bottom. it basically says that i owe them money from a credit line with Ace Cash Services and had put my social security number on hold. they say if I don't call then they will send me to court and threaten to report me to he FBI and everyone. Not once in the email do they say when this took place, or offer any documents. I think that if anyone calls that number they will go through a lengthy reason why you owe this and it could cost thousands of dollars. Even with an email no one should answer them back. I trully believe this is a scam
If you google the phone number like I did, I came up with the same things some of you have put down.
Google Ace Cash Services and you can read a lot of complaints about them from people who have gotten
the same emails. I ignore the phone calls and the emails. I am going to call Ace Cash here in the town that i live in and have them check to see if they have me as ever taking out a loan as a credit line.
Ditto on the threatening phone calls and e-mails. The phone calls leave different phone numbers. The e-mail is written in poor grammar and language. Example: "You are going to be legally prosecuted in the Court House within couple of days. Your SSN is put on hold by US Government, ..." Sounds like someone who doesn't speak or write English very well. And it's signed by "UNITED STATES OF ATTORNEY." For goodness sake, that's not even a proper entity. Be AWARE AND DON'T GIVE YOUR INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE TO ANYONE YOU DON'T KNOW OR TRUST.
