I also experienced a similar string of questions from this number. He had an Indian/Pakistani accent and said he was working for a company called Gross and wanted to send me some research he had done. When I told him I wasn't interested in giving him any details, he quickly hung-up. I would suggest to all not to open any links sent from him.
I strongly believe this is a phishing attempt. He spoke very quickly and said he was from a UK based market research company (calling from a US number?). He wanted my email address and asked that I click a link in the email he would send me.
Said he's from Adobe and looking to send whitepapers to an employee that no longer works for us. Then he said he just needs to speaking with the Director of Marketing (we have several since that's a very general title). Then he asked for a specific employee again, that isn't in our marketing department. Something is off with this call.
