I have over 32 calls on VOIPO account for the annual period. I agree this is a bad number and I don't think customers should get stuck with the bill from a proven bad number. Is this a way VOIPO makes money on known bad numbers? I have the same problem with this phone number showing up on my bill and never even being forwarded to my cell or voice mail. In fact my voicemail is turned off so they can't even leave long messages and make my bills higher. If this doesn't stop, I think I'll just put my number on Hold or transfer it to another company that can honor these bad spam phishing calls.
They call at least 3 times a day. its an automated recording about Google plus... "press 1" to speak to a specialist. I press 1...guy answers, and i ask, "so you are calling from google?" he replies "no" and hangs up... wtf?
This is a SCAMMER….these people are telemarketers trying to scam you, they are NOT Google. Do NOT press any buttons, just hang up & BLOCK them. Google will not: 1)Place automated sales calls 2)Ask you to update your front-page listing or claim your free website 3)Ask you to pay to be included in Google Search or Google My Business ALSO NOTE The only reason the REAL Google would be calling you is if YOU called or contacted them first & they will supply you with a PIN Code!
This number calls my office a couple times a week and caller ID comes up as Compton, CA. Every time I answer the phone, no one ever answers back and it eventually hangs up. It must be a scammer of some sort but I wish I could block the number or at least talk to someone so they can remove my number from their call list!
