Same message as above. IRS "officer" Heather wanted me or my attorney to call back. Implied legal action if I didn't. The IRS will not use a robo call voice or threaten legal action if you don't call back.
These [***] had the audacity to call me and when i called back they said IRS how can i help you and i asked why would california irs call me in a different state. How stupid is that! Some scammers are damn! They have indian accents and i could hear another indian accent in the background talking to another person they are trying to scam. So sad.
Rec'd many calls from 424-343-9256, today is the 1st time able to speak with someone, Office Mike Miller, very broken english, transferred me to senior supervisor Office Chris Martin, also broken english, wanted $3,500.00. Threatened to send Sheriff to arrest me!
Husband's sister passed away and we are dealing with wrapping up her final expenses.......received this call from an Officer Heather Gray with the IRS (424)732-0464 wanting us or our attorney of record to contact her immediately about a time sensitive issue at hand. She did not use our name in the call. If true IRS were calling (which I don't believe they do conduct their business in this way) they would have said it was a message for ______ _______ and used our proper name.
This # has been harassing me for months!!! They say they are some home security company. I have yelled, screamed, told them I am on the do not call list(which obviously doesn't mean crap to these idiots). I have had 3 calls just today. For anyone that's getting called by someone claiming to be the IRS, know this: it's 100% a scam. The IRS does not call (or email) anyone for these reasons. The IRS communicates via the mail only. My husband is a CPA and he has clients ask him about this all the time.
