Indians that keep calling from different #'s....that's three today from different lines. So tired of this...it's harassment. The FTC needs to do something about these loopholes with switches being used in the US from foreigners harassing US Citizens.
Caller ID spoofing (faking) is so easy now it is doubtful that your 'Canadian pharmacy' is in Canada. Think the Caribbean or Asia. If they have a web site do a 'whois' and see where the site is registered. Not in North America? Surprise! Surprise!
I've set up "Do Not Answer" #1, #2, #3 & #4 contacts on my cell phone. Whenever one number accumulates 30 different IDs, I move on to the next one. Each of the 4 contacts is identified be the "Do Not Answer" icon (circle w/slash over a cell phone symbol) and the ringtone is set to P.F.'s "Money".
So far, there are 93 numbers...
2 - Credit Card Scams
3 - Microsoft Scams
2 - Cruise Scams
1 - Misc ?
2 - Student Loan Scams
83 - Canadian Pharmacy Scams
This way, whenever a known # calls, I can tell from its ringtone, not to answer.
This "Canadian Pharmacy" (which sells Indian drugs but seems to have call centers in both India and the Philippines) has been harassing me for 4 years. Once they get your number, they will not stop calling and will not remove you from their list. And they change their number about once every week or two. So I have to block each new number, which is easy to do on my phone but a pain overall.
Yep same here, repeatedly get calls from this "Canadian Pharmacy" with the heavy Indian accent AND yes they do just call you from a different number, and another and another. It is endless for sure!
