Man called asking for the owner from 'WL Construction Company'. He said that he will know who he is... name was "Lowrey". Then proceeded to demand the owner's cell phone number insinuating that he had the phone number but had lost it. "SALESMAN!!... oh, and a LIAR!!"

Just got a call from them. I asked why he was calling my boss and he asked "does it matter?". i said it does if you want to talk to him. He told me he was too busy for my [***]. LOL
Just got a call from this number. Said he was looking for Bill and I said he passed away (which he did a year ago today... not a good day to call and ask for him...). Then he says who took over Bills position. I asked his name and he said Robert from W L Construction. I asked if he needed an estimate. He said no he just needed to talk to the new owner about things he always talked to Bill about. I said I could take his name and number and have them call you, I never said a name of who it was. Asked him his name again because i already forgot it and he got really rude with me. That was a red flag... Most people that call for Bill and find out he passed away usually are very sympathetic and tell me exactly what they need so I can direct them to who they need to talk to or if we are interested in it or not. This guy wasn't giving it up what he was calling about and kept asking for a name and then demanding someone's cell number.. Needless to say that message wasn't getting passed along and definitely not after seeing the other messages on here. Glad I decided to look it up. Telemarketers are getting very tricky with their calls and lying to the people answering the phones to just get past them. Majority of the time I am actually the one they need to talk to but I feel them out first before I let them know that!
Same thing here. Robert Lawery asking to talk to our owner.. Then says oh i have another call and put me on hold and we got disconnected. There was loud music in the background.. red flag right away.
