7/10 19:22 Caller unidentified and although went over to voicemail, no message. Odd that area code is BH, Carson and Compton. Whatever the case, along with any of a number of other calls, nothing but a bunch of garbage. Will keep track of # of calls received..
7/19 11:12 Just called again. This time I was ending another call, so rather than avoiding I just hit "flash". This turned out to be someone supposedly representing Gabby Gifford and asking for $100.00 donation to help fight the gun lobby. Whatever my beliefs might be, suggesting that size donation takes some kind of nerve! The one thing that really bothers me is the fact that they ask for me by my legal first name.
I just realized, I seem to be almost exclusive reporting this number. I don't know how to characterize this because doesn't really fall into the available categories.
It was the super-pact for Gabby Gifford. After numerous calls and hang ups, I advised the person to take me off their list. Time will tell if they actually do.
