This is a classic phishing scam.

text:
"Strapped for cash after theis winter holiday?No Crdit? No Fax? Not An Issue get up 2 $1g on your fone! Visit www.chkadvance.com and apply not 0pt0it-rply-stop"

Note the spelling mistakes and poor grammar, as well as the redirect to a website asking for personal information. Do not relpy, just delete the message.

I received 2 texts from these guys today.
chkadvance.com   for money advance.  reply with text "stop" to opt out... sounds fishy.  

Can you get charged for replying to the text for opting out?

I received the text as well and this is the third time. How do we get the text messages to stop from them? Does anyone know?
