Called left v c mail that a documents received with my name attached to call 888# to know bout the complaint. I did look up reverse on 4252091668 came up invalid # called 888 5033207 the woman said that it was a visa account unpaid 1998 and that I could settle today for less to purshase a prepaid card buy never would give the card # my full social the creditors address or cust # so I could verify anything not even there address just said it was proven mediation and they would attached to my social if I didn't pay today by end of working day nuthing made sense . I don't remember owing this credit card verified with ex husband he said it would be in both our names it was 16 years pass limitations. Does anyone know who are these people?
A woman called and demanded $1600 for a Spiegel credit card bill. This is a bill from 21 years ago!! She yelled at me, said she was having papers served on me, and I would be charged with fraud. Then handed the phone to "Scott Majors". I asked for proof of this bill but he refused to send any information through the mail but did send it via email. Of course the email looked bogus. I called him the next day and asked for him to send all information through the mail and he refused! Also called from 8885023117/8885023107
No debt validation, no debt. No kidding. Also--they can't sue you on a time-barred debt. Let them know this the next time they call---and you intend to inform the judge of this if they take you to court.

I just got the same type of call ! I have tried to find the company on the net and have called the court house where they said that the case had been filed they even gave me a docket number.
After talking to the courthouse and finding out that the number that they gave is bogus I had them look up my name and see if they had anything filed under my name or the company's name "proven Mediation" and still nothing.
I even went the extra step and called a collection in Bellevue Washington where the number came from and explained what was going on and they had never heard of the place and told me not to give them any money or information.
I looked up the statute of limitations for the state where they said I owed money and the statute was 4 years .
it is sad that we have to spend over an hour trying to figure out if a place is legit or not ,I pay my bills but have been through a divorce about 10 years ago so I wanted to make sure that if I did owe someone I could settle up .
I'm not sure where to go from here with this but I want to tell someone so these people don't contact someone that gives them money for something that is long in the past here are a list of numbers that they called me from 888-502-3117 888-503-1727 425-209-1668 they are rude and relentless and they threaten to take you to court and garnish your wadges
I just got the same call from 425-209-1668 (WA). Automated voice gave no business name & says they just received documents in a complaint with my name attached. The last name was from a previous marriage 19 yrs. ago!! Left a phone number (888-503-1727) and complaint number on my voice mail. Should I call them back...NOT!!!!
Got call from 4252091668 same as other posts left voice mail that complaint with my name gave me a complaint # and a toll free # of 8885033207 what should I do ?
