Asked for my husband, then a recorded voice started "You will do..." And launched into a monologue about how nice it is to hear a friendly voice, (or something similar). I hung up and blocked the number.
These guys are spammers, no doubt, they're coming up as multiple numbers, 360 , 425 & 206 area codes. No message, can't imagine the purpose of such calls beyond determining whether a given household is savvy enough to ignore/block 'em...
They called late TWICE this evening. They asked for my husband by name and then said I would do. No true fund raiser would call this late at night. I smell a scam. I am so sick of these phone scams.
Vet Support Fnd shows on the ID. They are a scam outfit that gives less than 10% to Vets. There are plenty of worthy charities out there. They will also call using 360-208-0015. Don't fall for their scam of giving them money... Go to Wounded Warriors and local VFW, DAV (Disabled American Veterans) or American Legion to help out. They will help local vets and almost 100% of your giving will go to help out...
